Urban Calm

The client had waited 20 years to create their dream garden and entrusted us to create that dream! The planting was an integral part of the garden, and using many of the established plants the hard landscaping was designer around those plants. Two main terrace areas were created with warm red clay bricks used as a link pathway between them and the rear parking and garage. We used post and crossbeam arches to zone the garden and to reduce the feel of the height of the imposing neighbouring wall. Bold dark grey paint colours coupled with the red brick and grey limestone paving were used and worked really well with the planting bringing the garden alive, extended after dark with the carefully chosen lighting scheme.
